Description
State Rehabilitation Council, whose members are appointed by the Governor, provides input and guidance on the Vocational Rehabilitation and Supported Employment programs administered by the Bureau of Rehabilitation Services (BRS). Council members also advocate for the Vocational Rehabilitation Program on state and federal levels. The Council provides assessment, advice and recommendations to BRS and others regarding coordination and effectiveness of programs and strategies which promote community based competitive employment for people with disabilities. Meetings are held bimonthly at locations around Connecticut and are open to the public.
NOTE: NO DIRECT SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS.
