SYRINGE SERVICES PROGRAM: Deploys mobile health vehicles throughout the City of Baltimore in order to provide community-based outreach, which includes onsite: counseling, testing and referral services (HIV, Syphilis screenings); Vaccines (Influenza, Hepatitis A, and COVID); health education and information on safe injection practices, risk and harm reduction, HIV and STD prevention, tuberculosis, and other health disparities; Care linkage services for substance use disorders treatment, sexually health and reproductive health services. Individuals can bring in used syringes for proper disposal and receive new ones or pick up new syringes as needed.

STAYING ALIVE PROGRAM: Provides training to community stakeholders, individuals, and organizations on how to recognize an opioid-related overdose and properly respond calling 911, administering rescue breathing and Naloxone (also known as Narcan). The program provides Naloxone to anyone in the community, free of charge. Also provides referrals to medication assisted treatment and other services for individuals with substance use disorders.
