Description

Provides a one-time limited assistance to prevent homelessness due to unpaid rent or to assist homeless households obtain permanent housing. A "last resort" assistance restricted to household with no other resources who either in emergency shelters or will become homeless without program assistance.

Program cannot help people wanting to voluntarily move. Those with assistance from the Housing Authority or another source does not qualify. Program assistance is not guaranteed.

Eligibility:	Meet criteria: A resident of San Joaquin County Experiencing homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness (receive an Eviction or Pay or Quit Notice) Have income below 30% of area median for household size: Household size / Annual Gross Income 1 person / $36,650 2 people / $41,850 3 people / $47,100 4 people / $52,300 5 people / $56,500 6 people / $60,700 7 people / $64,900 8 people / $69,050 Must demonstrate that assistance will result in being able to maintain housing after assistance
