Provides services for Medi-Cal eligible women to improve their health during pregnancy and give their babies a healthy start to life.
In addition to prenatal medical care, CPSP services include:
- A comprehensive prenatal risk assessment
- Services to address problems identified through that assessment
- Health education
- Nutrition services
- Psychosocial support
- Preconception and Interconception Education
Services for these women continue for up to 60 days after delivery of their infants.
