Students can:
  • Earn an accredited high school diploma and a certificate in their chosen career path. The average time to complete the program is 12 months. 
  • Take classes online with 24/7 access to classwork.
  • Get support and additional instructional help from an academic coach and a certified instructor, if needed.
  • Gain career readiness with a career portfolio including a resume, a cover letter, and job preparation support.

Program Hours:
Office Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am - 6 pm;
Online School: Seven days a week, 24-hours

Program Delivery
Eligibility: Sacramento County residents who are at least 19 years old and wish to earn their high school diploma. Students should be at about a 6th-grade reading level in English or higher to successfully complete the program on time.

Application Process: Complete the online readiness survey. Eligible students will then be emailed steps for enrolling in a Part 1 prerequisite course (part of the career path electives). After completing Part 1, you will be notified within 5 business days of the next steps, which will include reviewing some paperwork to sign and return.
Payment methods:
Program Fees: No fee. The library pays for the student's enrollment. There may be a fee if a student does not finish the program within 18 months.
