Description
Families with children that are HUSKY A, C and D members under age 21 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder are eligible for ASD evaluation and treatment services. A Physician (Primary Care Provider) or Pediatrician must support the ASD diagnosis. Services include diagnostic evaluations, behavior assessments, treatment plans, and direct intervention. Peer and Care Coordinator Services are available to individuals of any age who have ASD and their families. These services can help families connect to ASD services, community providers, social skills groups, or other necessary referrals. In-home behavioral services, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), are available to Medicaid HUSKY Health members under age 21, if medically necessary.
