The Mobile Area Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving our local public schools. Our mission is to build community responsibility for improving public education outcomes in Mobile County. We work with, but are independent of, the Mobile County Public School System. Volunteers are needed in several programs, especially Reading Buddies. Business Partners can become involved in Engaging Youth in Engineering, Partners in Education and the Yes We Can initiative. Opportunities are also provided for over-aged and undercredited students wishing to complete their high scool diploma.
