SARCOA IN-HOME SERVICE PROGRAM:   Each of the seven counties served by the Area Agency on Aging has an In-Home service program. This program assists older individuals with shopping, minor chores, and other homemaking activities within their home when the senior is unable to do the tasks themselves:

  • Homemaker
  • Chore
  • Information and Assistance
  • Outreach
  • Advocacy/Representation
  • Letter Writing/Reading
  • Material Aid
  • Telephoning 
  • Visiting
NOTE: 5/11/22: In-home service is currently NOT available for Dale County.

Program Delivery
Eligibility: HOMEBOUND SENIORS AGES 60 AND OVER.
The In-Home Service Program provides the following limited services to homebound individuals of at least age 60.
