Program Delivery
Eligibility: Students within the Sacramento City Unified School District who have a disability and meet eligibility requirements after an evaluation.
Languages: Translation services available for multiple languages, American Sign Language Interpreter available on request, Spanish, English
Application Process: SCUSD follows the Child Find protocol which aims to identify, locate, and evaluate children with disabilities who may need special education and related services.

Call or email to make a referral. Referrals to Child Find can be made by parents, teachers, doctors, or any concerned individuals who suspect a child has a disability. Once a referral is made, comprehensive evaluations are conducted to determine if the child has a disability, and an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is developed for the child.
