Program Delivery
Eligibility: Families with children who are enrolled or are interested in being enrolled in Sacramento City Unified School District.
Languages: Interpretation services available upon request, American Sign Language Interpreter available on request, Cantonese, Dari, Farsi, Hmong, Mandarin, Pashto, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese, English
Application Process: Call, walk in, or visit the website to enroll. Appointments not required.

Program Fees: No fee.
Documents Required: The following documents, along with a completed registration form, are required to enroll a child:

1. Photo Identification: State Issued ID or other photo identification.

2. Address Verification (the name on the ID must match the name on the bill issued within 30 days):
a. Utility service contract, statement, or payment receipts
b. Property tax payment receipts
c. Rental property contract, lease with payment receipts
d. Voter registration
e. Correspondence from a government agency
f. Pay stubs

If an individual does not have the ability to provide proof of address:
a. If living in a Primary/Permanent Residence, individuals must submit a completed and signed Address Affidavit with the required documentation.
b. If an individual is unhoused/homeless, they must submit a completed and signed Housing Survey.

3. Proof of Birth: Local registrar or county issued birth certificate, duly attested baptism certificate, or passport.

4. Immunization Record: proof of immunization. Child's name and date of birth must be on the immunization record.

5. Current Withdrawal Grades and Transcripts: required for grades 9 through 12.

6. Individualized Education Plan (IEP): documentation for receiving Special Education Services, if applicable.

7. Guardianship/Custody Documents: if applicable.
