Eligibility:
|
Basic eligibility factors for a child(ren) and a needy parent(s) or caretaker relative include deprivation, age, property, and residency.
Generally, services are available to: - Families that have a child in the home who has been deprived of parental support or care because of the death, disability, or absence of at least one parent. - Families with a child whose parents are in the home, but the principal earner is unemployed. - Needy caretaker relatives of a child.
The amount of a family's monthly assistance payment depends on several factors, including the number of people who are eligible, special needs of any eligible family members, and the net income of the family.
