 Description

Brings the library to doorsteps and community events. Provides library services to those who do not have access to a stationary library due to disability, distance, etc. Allows individuals to browse and check out books and/or pick up materials placed on hold online.

Mobile Services Routes:

  • Sojourner Route: brings library services and resources to pop-ups and community events. Serves communities around the Colonial Heights Library and Martin Luther King, Jr. Library with additional stops at the Sam & Bonnie Pannell Center and Tahoe Park.
  • Wanderer Route: visits more than 40 retirement communities, assisted living centers, and mobile home parks on a monthly schedule with an additional stop in Rancho Murieta.
