Eligibility:

Owners of domestic animals who need non-basic, non-urgent veterinary care. The program may only be used once for assistance. The animal’s medical needs must be able to wait for the length of the current waitlist, and owners must contact The Pet Fund by email with a request prior to sending their application.
Non-basic, non-urgent veterinary care, such as: - Cancer Treatment - Heart Disease - Chronic Conditions - Endocrine Diseases - Eye Disease
Does not cover the following care: - Basic Care (spay/neuter procedures, dental, vaccinations, etc.) - Urgent Care (diagnostic testing, broken leg, torn ligament, etc.) - Emergency Care (life-threatening injuries or illnesses)

Application Process:

Contact The Pet Fund by email BEFORE applying for funding with a description of the animal's medical needs. Send an email to [email protected] that includes a phone number to [email protected]. If an animal’s medical needs match the program criteria, they will advise individuals to complete the application. Only leave a voicemail if you have received an email response from The Pet Fund.

Documents Required:

- Recent income statements. Cannot use tax forms. - Copy of a written cost estimate for the needed procedures and/or treatment from the veterinarian. - Name, address, and medical license number for your treating veterinarian.
