Program Delivery
Eligibility: Families needing child care for their children up to 12 years. Families are ranked by eligibility factors including income, size and need, not just by the amount of time they have been on the list.

Application Process: Before you contact our office, be sure to know your family's gross income for the past (30) thirty days and your child's school of residence. When your application is submitted, you will be assigned a ranking number based on your income and family size. Once you have been added, contact Stanislaus County CEL if there are any changes in your financial status, address, or telephone number. Contact Stanislaus County CEL every (3) three months to update your information. If we do not hear from you, you will be removed from the CEL after the fourth month. When a susidized program has an opening, they will begin calling families, starting with the lowest rank and moving up the list until the program is full.
Payment methods:
Program Fees: No fee.
Documents Required: Proof of income. Countable income includes Wages / Salaries, Profit from Self-Employment, Child / Spousal Support, Cash Aid (TANF or CalWorks), Worker's Compensation, Disability Insurance Payments, Pensions or Annuities, Veterans Benefits.
