Application Process: When Habitat is ready to select more families for the home ownership program, they hold an orientation meeting to discuss eligibility criteria, the application process, and supplemental documents that applicants need to assemble. At this time, Habitat will provide applications and outline important dates and deadlines. Interested applicants do not need to bring anything to the orientation meeting.
Program Fees: There is no fee to apply. If selected, a family will purchase their home for a 1% down payment and make a monthly mortgage payment that is 30% or less of their monthly income.
