The Nevada County Veterans Services office helps veterans, survivors, and dependents in obtaining Federal, State, and local benefits accrued through active duty military service. Provides information and referral for both service members and their families about military specific resources.

Documents Required: Original DD214 (discharge papers)
Volunteering: Volunteer opportunities are available.
Volunteer requirements: Pass drug screening and live scan
Volunteer duties: Driving Veterans to medical appoints to the Northern California VA medical facilities, and Reno VA hospital in Nevada.
