Description

Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) provides electric and natural gas services for most of Nevada and Placer counties.

Utility services include connection and disconnection support, outage reporting, and emergency response for gas or electrical hazards.

Services include:

  • Electric and natural gas utility service for residential and commercial customers
  • 24/7 response for electric and gas emergencies, including outages and potential gas leaks
  • Service connection and disconnection support for new or existing customers
  • Automated outage reporting and safety alerts via phone or online account

Additional notes:

In the event of a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1 immediately.

Examples include:

  • Downed power lines
  • Smell of natural gas or propane
  • Any situation involving possible fire or injury

Never touch a downed power line. Assume it is live and extremely dangerous. Keep people and animals away. Call 9-1-1 first, then notify the utility provider.
