Offers wellness programs for persons with dementia. Programs include: A Fresh Canvas - An Alzheimer’s Arts Program that incorporates art therapy, music therapy and dance-movement therapy; Horticultural Therapy and Jessie’s Community Gardens: stand up gardens, a sensory garden and Jessie’s Community Garden project give participants the opportunity to grow produce, to make home made food, and to donate extra crop to the food pantry at Jewish Family Services; TimeSlips Creative Storytelling - with a trained facilitator, participants work together to tell the back-story behind funny photos; through the Good Hearted Living Program, participants and staff members work on creating positive habits for lighthearted perspectives.
