Description
Provides drop-in, pre-crisis center with immediate access to professional help. Serves those overwhelmed by emotional distress, traumatic events or severe life stressors. Examples include:
- Any mental illness
- Acute anxiety/panic/depression
- Abuse/neglect
- Crime-related trauma
- Disability
- Disaster distress
- Family Violence
- Harassment/bullying
- Loss of a loved one, home, job or income
- Miscarriage, stillbirth, etc.
- PTSD
- School violence
- Sexual Assault
- Sudden loss of a loved one
- Suicidal ideation
- Workplace violence
- Other distressing or traumatic situation.
For those experiencing or at risk of homelessness, provides assistance with housing services. Uses the Coordinated Entry System (CES) and Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). Connects clients to a variety of housing assistance services.
