Description

A clinic that provides services on a walk-in basis to individuals of all ages who are experiencing a mental health and co-occurring substance use crisis.

Individual and family services are voluntary, and include but are not limited to:

  • A safe space for individuals and families
  • Peer and Family Support Psychiatric Assessment
    • No controlled medications are prescribed
    • No medication is kept on-site
    • Evaluation available daily
  • Integrated co-occurring mental health and substance use crisis assessment
  • Crisis intervention and counseling to avert the need for inpatient hospitalization
  • Referral and linkage to ongoing services and community supports

Clients cannot stay overnight, and detox services are not available. The clinic does not prescribe controlled medication.

The project is a collaboration between Sacramento County Behavioral Health Services and Turning Point Community Programs.

Program Hours:
Clinic Intake and Services: Monday through Friday , 8 am - 10 pm, Saturdays and Sundays, 8 am - 6 pm
Prescription Services: Available as staffing allows - call to determine prescription hours
