Situation types include but are not limited to:
- Encampment
- Graffiti
- Landscaping - weeds, trees, brush
- Litter - trash and debris
- Roadway - pothole
- Chains/snow tires
- Deceased animal (reports of dead animals on highways)
- Illegal dumping
- Litter - unauthorized signs, banners, or posters
- Quickmap - submit corrections
- Report misuse of a CalTrans vehicle and/or driver issue
- Rest area - cleanliness, plumbing
- Roadway - flooding, drainage, or erosion
- Signs - missing, broken, blocked, or down
- Traffic cameras
- Traffic lighting
- Traffic or work zone concerns
- Unlisted concern
Customer Service Requests can be submitted online at https://csr.dot.ca.gov/. Customer Service Requests are handled Monday-Friday, 8AM to 4PM. This form should NOT be used to report any kind of highway emergency. Report highway emergencies to 911 or the California Highway Patrol immediately.
