Kings Community Action Organization (KCAO) is a nonprofit community action agency serving individuals, families, and communities throughout Kings County. KCAO advocates, educates, and provides a wide range of quality services that empower individuals, promote self-sufficiency, preserve dignity, and improve quality of life.

KCAO connects residents with resources and programs that support stability and well-being, including food assistance through the KCAO Food Bank, Head Start and early childhood education, housing and energy assistance, tax preparation assistance, homelessness and housing support, domestic violence services, and other community-based programs.

KCAO serves residents throughout Kings County, including Hanford, Lemoore, Avenal, Corcoran, Armona, Home Garden, Stratford, and Kettleman City. Services and eligibility requirements vary by program.
