WATER SERVICE PAYMENT PLAN: Baltimore City residential customers with past due balances of $250 to $5,000 can sign up for no-interest and no-fee payment plans using the Water Affordability Portal, http://Baltimore.Promise-Pay.com or call 410-779-9808.
WATER BILL ASSISTANCE: The Water4All program offers a discount billing program for Baltimore City residents whose income is less than 200% of federal poverty guidelines. For example, for a 4-member household that would be less than $53,000 a year. A formula is used to calculate the maximum a household should pay for annual water and sewer services, based on a percentage of their annual income; Depending on income and household size, the maximum percentage could be 1%, 2% or 3%. The difference between the calculated maximum and the estimated annual water and sewer bill amount would determine the household´s annual discount. Water4All assistance will be a discount to participants who are billing account holders with Department of Public Works. After application, it may take up to three months to see the discount on the bill. Residents will need to apply annually.
