Description
CAREGIVER SUPPORT: Offers information, referral, education, and support services to caregivers who:
- assist individuals who are caring for someone older than 60 or someone living with dementia. While many caregivers are family members, this program also assists caregivers who are not related by blood or marriage.
- are ages 55+ and caring for a relative that is under the age of 18, but they are not the child's natural or adoptive parents.
- are ages 55+ and caring for an adult relative with a disability who is between the ages of 19-59 years old.
Caregiver support groups facilitated by Daisy Loez-Duke, LCPC.
- VIRTUAL: Second Thursday of each month from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. Call or email to receive link.
- IN-PERSON: Last Friday of each month from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm at Frederick Senior Center (1440 Taney Avenue).
