Program Hours:
Buses: Operate seven days a week, including holidays, during regular fixed route and/or light rail service hours, which can start as early as 4:30 am to 1 am;
Book a Ride: Monday through Friday, 7 am - 5 pm
Disabilities Access: Fully accessible to individuals using mobility aids.

Program Delivery
Eligibility: Individuals with physical, cognitive, or visual disabilities that are functionally unable to independently use the SacRT fixed-route service either all the time, temporarily, or only under certain circumstances. Riders must meet the ADA eligibility requirements to qualify and must complete an eligibility process in advance with SacRT, to determine if the applicant qualifies for ADA paratransit service.
Languages: Sign Language assistance is available through the Accessible Services department upon request, English
Application Process: Mail, drop off, fax, or email a signed and completed application and professional verification form. Medical provider must verify disability or medical condition. May include a telephone interview for additional information.

Payment methods: Set program fee
Program Fees: Exact fare of $5.00 for each one-way trip is required upon boarding; drivers do not give change. Two limited ride paratransit monthly pass options are available, each cost $137.50. Personal care attendants ride free; call for more information.
Documents Required: Professional verification of disability or medical condition.
Normal Wait Time: Application may take up to 21 days to be approved.
Service Area: SacRT’s ADA paratransit service does not go to West Sacramento, Galt, Rocklin or Roseville with the following exceptions: Roseville: SacRT (under an Agreement with the City of CitrusHeights) is able to transport passengers who live in Citrus Heights to the Kaiser Permanente Roseville facilities located at Riverside and at Eureka, and to the Sutter Roseville Medical facilities if you are unable to transfer to a Roseville ADA paratransit vehicle.
