Provides a center for individuals who experience mental health challenges. Provides opportunities for peer support, friendships, classes, and other activities. Inspires individual strengths and gifts. Encourages the value of contributing through work or volunteering. Provides a computer lab.
Classes may include:
- Jewelry-making
- Knitting, crocheting, or cross-stitch
- Quilting
- Art
- Painting
- Cooking
- Budgeting.
Workshops may include the following topics:
- Setting boundaries
- Dealing with loneliness
- Recovery
- Worry control
- Goal-setting
- Depression.
Activities include:
- Vegetable garden
- Movie days in Redding and Burney
- Volunteer work cleaning up local parks
- Picnics
- Exercise club
- Fundraisers.
