Program Delivery
Eligibility: Open to Yolo County residents, aged 18+, who receive public benefits (e.g. CalFresh, Medi-Cal, etc.) through Yolo County. Intake assessments will be done upon entry.

Service animals are allowed. All documents of the service animal must be presented, and individuals must show proof that the animal is fixed and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

Storage is available: When admitted, individuals will be provided 2 bins that fit underneath beds. No bike storage, but vehicle parking is allowed, the vehicle must be registered and have up-to-date documentation.

Application Process: Individuals interested in staying at the shelter must call the intake line before 6 pm in order to check bed availability for that day. It is recommended to call no later than 4 pm to have a better chance of reaching the team. After 6 pm, guests must be referred by a law enforcement or fire department agency. If beds are available, individuals will complete the intake process over the phone.

Intake calls are only accepted Monday through Friday. Weekend beds are only available to those already admitted to the shelter.
