HARM REDUCTION: Provides assistance to individuals with any harm reduction needs, and treatment for Hepatitis C. Staffed with individuals in recovery and harm reduction specialists that are there to provide outreach, resources, and education to keep individuals safe in their use and make connection within the community that are marginalized due to substance use. Services include overdose education and Narcan distribution, Hepatitis C and HIV testing/education, wound care education and supplies, safer injecting equipment (syringes, cookers, cotton, etc.), safe sex education and supplies (condoms, lube, etc.), safer smoking and snorting supplies, referrals to other community resources, peer support, and also acts as an additional Safe Station in Wicomico County.
