Program offers training and work experience in wildland firefighting, forestry, resource conservation, and trail construction and maintenance. Corpsmembers serve for one year, receive a monthly stipend, and gain skills for careers in natural resources, conservation, and public service. Eligible participants include California residents ages 18–25 and military veterans up to age 29.
