Connecticut Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) may assist individuals with a serious health condition, or other related issue, and can allow individuals the right to take unpaid time off from work, with guarantied leave protection. Other conditions may include taking time off to care for a child, parent, or spouse. (NOTE: The Connecticut Paid Leave program is a separate program that provides paid leave/income replacement, but not job protection).
