Program Delivery
Eligibility: Elementary age children receiving free or reduced school meals
Application Process: Option 1: Individuals can apply when completing your Application for Free/Reduced Meals at the beginning of the
school year. If approved, individual would be contacted with WW program details.
Option 2: If individuals have been approved for Free or Reduced Meals in the school, individuals can see the FRC worker
at your child’s school for expedited sign up. Bring with you your letter from the Board of Education that you
have been approved for free or reduced school meals and a picture ID.
Option 3: Contact Windsor Social Services at 860-285-1839 or stop into the office located at L.P. Wilson
Community Center. Bring your ID, proof of address and proof of household income to complete a
program application. Or if individuals qualify for free or reduced meals through the Windsor Food Services, individuals
automatically qualify for Weekend Wheels. Bring your letter from the Board of Education showing
approval for free or reduced school meals and a picture ID.
