Eligibility:
|
To be eligible for this program, a household must:
- Reside in a home that has not received LIHEAP weatherization services in at least ten years
- Meet income guidelines (priority given to households below 75% of the federal poverty level)
- Be classified as a high energy burden or high energy consumption household
- Include members of vulnerable populations (such as elderly adults, young children, people with disabilities, etc.)
- Have previously received services under ECIP Heating and Cooling Services, if applicable

Application Process:

Weatherization Assistance Program applications for Placer and Nevada County residents are accepted over the phone. In-person appointments by reservation only.

Documents Required:
|
Verification of income, most recent utility bill, and a SSN. Application must include every household member. SSN is only asked to be provided for the household member (age 18+) who is completing the application.
