Description
Provides non-urgent, community-based mental health services to promote recovery, resiliency, well-being, and reduce the risk of suicide. Helps individuals navigate mental health services. Services are offered by Peer Support Specialists and Mental Health Counselors.
The Community Support Team:
- Responds to requests for assistance for individuals, families, and the community
- Provides field-based screenings
- Provides referrals and connections to resources
- Provides early intervention to reduce or avoid the need for crisis services
