Meals on Wheels Yuba/Sutter provides medically tailored meal options for those who are struggling with following conditions: diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease, heart disease and cancer. The program expands access to healthy food for underserved populations or those living in rural areas.
Meals on Wheels Yuba/Sutter also oversees Dine Around Town program, an innovative restaurant voucher program operating in Sutter County. Adults 60 years of age and older can now have healthy, nutritionally balanced meals at a choice of 3 restaurants with a variety of menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals are free to eligible seniors.
