FRESH FOOD: The Seniors Farmers Market and Nutrition Program (SFMNP) provides fresh, nutritious, locally grown fruits and vegetables from farmers markets to eligible seniors. Seniors may receive a card worth $50 of farmers' market money to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, fresh cut herbs and honey from approved vendors. Cards must be used between July 1 through November 30, 2024.

Eligibility: * Frederick County resident
* 60 years of age or older
* Monthly income at or below $2322 for a single person or $3152 for a couple.

If you aren't able to shop at the Farmers Market, you may designate a proxy to shop for you when you register.
Application Process: Must present proof of age and County residency at the 2025 kick-off registration event at the Frederick Senior Center (1440 Taney Avenue). Or call 301-600-6008 to schedule an appointment.
