Offers confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Services include counseling for needs such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST).

  • In-house Groups Guitar 4 Vets, Tai-Chi, Empathetic Touch, Bowling, Pickle Ball, Bocce Ball, Yoga

Program Hours:
Monday through Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
Vet Center Call Center: Seven days a week, 24-hours
Description: Located between Northrup Avenue and Hurley Way.

Program Delivery
Eligibility: Veterans, active duty service members, including National Guard and Reserve components, and their families.
Languages: Most languages by arrangement. American Sign Language Interpreter available on request, Spanish, English
Application Process: Telephone for an appointment or walk-in. If the Sacramento Veterans Center is unavailable the call will roll over to the Vet Center Call Center, available 24/7.

Receipt of certain awards
Deployment orders
Other documents that show qualifying military service

You can request your military service records online.

If you don’t have these documents on hand, go in and they can work with you to establish your eligibility and also answer any questions you might have.
