Program Hours:
Check in Hours: 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM for our onward dorm all participants must be clean and sober. Check in hours: 6:00 - 7:00 PM for our outreach dorm, and participants may be under the influence of drugs and alcohol, but will be asked to leave if their behavior is violent, aggressive, or generally unacceptable. If a person has an emergency need after 7:00 PM, must contact local law enforcement or the Grass Valley Police Department at 530-477-4600.

Bus Service: On bus route - Gold Country Stage has a stop in the parking lot of Utah's Place.
Public Transportation Homeless Access Transport is available to all guests M-F during the hours of 10-2pm and can be used to access services, and places of employment

Program Delivery
Eligibility: Adults 18 and over, younger ages must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Must be a Nevada County resident with ID. Adults Teens Families Females Males

Application Process: The building is two stories and accommodates single adults and families. There are 3 dormitory programs: the Outreach Dorm (11 beds), the Onward Dorm (54 beds), and the Recuperative Care Dorm (54 beds). Although each dorm has separate functions and support different demographics of our homeless clientele, all participants are required to be "cleared" by Grass Valley Police Department before entering any of our shelter programs. Guests are invited to check in each day after completing the registration process which includes showing proof of a negative TB test (or signing up for testing at the center) and agreeing to the Hospitality House Mutual Respect Policy.
