Description
Open flatboat ferries transport people and vehicles (Cars, SUV's, Pickup Trucks, Motorcycles, or similar vehicles) across the Connecticut River. Chester/Hadlyme Ferry operates April 1 through November 30 (closed Thanksgiving Day), and the Rocky Hill/Glastonbury Ferry operates May 1st through November 30th. Hours of operation are M-F: 7am-6:45pm; Sat, Sun, Holidays: 10:30am-5pm.

Eligibility: People seeking to use the ferry for themselves or vehicles
Application Process: Call for more information
Program Fees: $5 per motor vehicle ($6 on weekends); $3 with pre-purchased commuter coupons; $2 for walk-on bicyclists and pedestrians
