Description
Community Closet, located on the lower level of LifeBridge Community Services Clinton Avenue building, offers free clothing for adults and babies, and baby furniture to those in need who have a written social service agency referral when items are available. Small household items and diapers may be available depending on supply.  Diaper applications are taken 4 times a year:  January, April, July and October.  Emergency applications are taken based on need and availability of diapers. Families applying for diapers must have up to date referral, photo id, child's birth certificate and social security card. No large furniture items or beds available. Open Monday and Wednesday from 9am-2pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm-3pm and the first Wednesday of the month from 4pm-6pm.  Fridays are closed to shoppers unless  an agency has an emergency situation. Diaper bank is not accepting new applications. Diaper bank is for clients only.

Program Delivery
Eligibility: Shoppers must have a written social service agency referral (which is valid for 2 years); Clients can use the Closet once a month, no appointment necessary; Items are distributed when they are available
Application Process: No self referrals; Social service agency must contact for the person in need to obtain an appointment and provide a written referral; Diaper applications are taken 4 times a year: January, April, July and October; Emergency applications are taken based on need and availability of diapers; Families applying for diapers must have an up to date referral, photo ID, child's birth certificate and social security card
