COVID-19 Update: Office is closed to the public. Staff are available Mon-Fri, 7am-6pm to provide assistance for all services. (Updated 6/1/2020)

Offers a nutrition program for low to moderate income pregnant or breast-feeding women. Infants and children five years of age and under are also eligible. Participants receive monthly checks for food to help them maintain good health. Provides guidance, support, and education for prenatal and postpartum women considering breastfeeding.

Merced, Atwater, Livingston, and Los Banos, and Obanion have lunch time appointments to accommodate working parents.
Merced will take walk-in participants Monday – Thursday from 7:10am – 8am.
All sites are closed from 8am – 2pm the first Wednesday of the month.

Program Delivery
Eligibility: Must live in California. Must have children under five years of age, including those cared for by grandparents, foster children, and dads. Can be pregnant or recently had a baby in the past six months. Meet income requirements. Migrant families are welcome to apply.

Program Fees: No Fee
Documents Required: Must bring infant/child during enrollment. Bring proof of pregnancy - doctor verification. Bring one form of identification for child and adult; for child, can be birth certificate, crib card, social security card, Medi-Cal card, etc. For adult, can be California State ID, drivers license, student ID, etc. Bring income verification; paystubs, grant letters, for TANF, SSI, food stamps, disability, unemployment, etc. If someone supports you, you must bring their income as well. Income eligibility is based on gross income. Bring proof of residency; PG&E bill, TANF grant letter, etc.
