- Transportation assistance for non-emergency medical services.

- Door to door paratransit service may not be available in all cases. Type of service depends on the insurance provider of the caller. Some insurance providers may limit transportation to within certain mileage.

- If transportation isn't available, gas reimbursement or bus tokens may be provided. Call for case-specific information.

Program Delivery
Eligibility: - Anyone living in Hennepin County who is enrolled in a Minnesota health care program such as MA, Medicare or GMAC

- NOTE: Some MinnesotaCare recipients are not eligible for Medical Transportation assistance
Languages: Interpreters available
Application Process: - Call; clients on a health plan or HMO must call their health plan or HMO (except if they need mileage reimbursement)

- Clients who need mileage reimbursement or who are on "fee for service" Health Care must call MNET (Minnesota Non-emergency Transportation): 1-866-467-1724

NOTE: If a client needs to find out if they are on an HMO or are "free for service" call 612-596-1300
Documents Required: - Must be a recipient of Minnesota health care programs

- NOTE: Some MinnesotaCare recipients are not eligible for Medical Transportation assistance
