Languages: Interpreters available
Application Process: Daytime Shelter Team Procedures:

- Families must apply in person with their children. Families can call 612-348-9410 for information. Enter the main entrance, 5th Floor.

- Families can be screened, during the day, by video-conference with the Shelter Team located at the Health Services Building. Families are responsible for arranging their own transportation if there is shelter space available. All Human Services Center locations provide video conferencing with the Shelter Team.

- Call 612-348-6777 during the hours of 5 pm - 11 pm Monday - Friday; 1 pm - 11 pm Saturday, Sunday and holidays. If a person calls the after hours shelter team, they may receive a message that says, "there is no voicemail set up for the subscriber you are trying to reach. Goodbye". That means that the line is busy and they can continue to call until the phone is answered.

- After 11 pm families can be referred to People Serving People at 612-277-0201. NOTE: People Serving People only serves Hennepin County residents.
