Description
|
VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION SERVICES DIVISION: Offers vocational evaluations, job skills training and employment possibilities. EMPLOYMENT SERVICES: Offers DDA funded individuals employment in the community. Individuals are placed into a wide variety of jobs based on their preferences, provided job coaching to ensure a successful transition, then provided with ongoing follow-up and support for the duration of their employment. Van transportation may be provided for individuals.
DAY HABILITATION: Provides development and maintenance skills related to activities of daily living, employment, and socialization. Assists with formal teaching and participation in activities or volunteering in the community to enhance socialization, works skills, interpersonal skills, self-direction, problem-solving, communication, self-care, etc.
PERSONAL SUPPORT SERVICES: Helps adults and families achieve independence at home and in the community with the help of a dedicated counselor to navigate community resources. May help with health needs, budgeting, accompany to appointments, give reminders to take medication, engage in exercise, support with self-care, interaction with peers, daily task guidance/supports and more.

|
Vocational Rehab: Individuals 21 or older, with physical, mental or developmental disabilities, including mental illness. Those funded by DORS can be 18 or older.
