LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY: Assures the safety and general welfare of the public by preventing and detecting crime, apprehending criminals, enforcing laws, and protecting lives and property. To report a crime online: www.baltimorecountymd.gov/policereportonline
-Community Relations Council: Offers each Baltimore County precinct a council of community leaders, interested citizens and representatives of the local business community. Council members meet monthly with police personnel to develop responses to community problems and participate in crime prevention activities. For more information, contact local precinct.
-Prescription Medication Drop Boxes: Accepts expired, unused or unwanted medications. Will also accept over-the-counter medications, liquid medications in containers and veterinary medications. DO not dispose of needles, lancets, syringes and razor blades in these receptacles. The drug drop boxes are available outside of all 10 Baltimore County Police Precincts below.
-Youth Service: Officers present the following programs in the schools:
--D.A.R.E.: Drug education and prevention program, call 410-887-6426.
--Stranger Danger: Teaches young children how to be wary of strangers.
--Change: Provides at-risk youth counseling, experiential activities and mentoring. Contact Mr. John Worden at 410-887-5823.
--Child Sexual Abuse Program: Prevention and education program for parents, child supervisors, and children about the appropriate and inappropriate forms of touching.
-Joins Program: Provides a program to prevent juvenile delinquency.
--Law Enforcement Explorer Program: Provides high-school students ages 14-20, who maintain a "C" average in school, receive basic instruction in law enforcement. The purpose is to recruit future police persons, enhance positive attitudes between police and youth and to develop character and leadership skills in youth.

-Complaints: Accepts complaints against a police officer at any police location. Individuals can use the online complaint form, https://www.baltimorecountymd.gov/Agencies/police/complimentscomplaintsform.html
