LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY: Assures the safety and general welfare of the public by preventing and detecting crime, apprehending criminals, enforcing laws, and protecting lives and property. Provides courthouse security, executes civil prosecutions and ex-parte orders for domestic violence. Also investigates gang activity and registers sex offenders. Assists with legal evictions and child support enforcement.

-Community Resource Unit: Provides crime prevention information to individuals and community groups. Provides home security survey and assists residents with the marking of valuables through operation ID. Sponsors neighborhood watch programs to involve residents in observing and reporting suspicious activities in their communities.

-D.A.R.E.: Provides drug awareness to 6th-grade students in Cecil County. ODEC Coordinator gives presentations about the dangers of all drugs.
