Description PUBLIC HOUSING: Offers rent efficiencies, 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5-bedroom apartments to low income families, single persons ages 55 and older, and also to single persons who are physically disabled. Housing options require 30% of income as rent, which includes heat and electricity.

Deductions: Deductions from income include $480 for each dependent, $400 for a family member 62 or older or who has a handicap or disability, all income of children under age 18, certain medical expenses for applicants 62 or older, and specific child care expenses.
