Description
|
1) OUTPATIENT HOSPICE: Nurses, home health aides, a social worker, a pastoral care counselor, and specially trained volunteers provide medical, emotional, and spiritual support to individuals facing a life-limiting illness. Services are provided where the individual resides.
2) INPATIENT HOSPICE: Kline Hospice House is a residence for individuals with a life expectancy that is measured in weeks, and who can no longer stay in their own homes. Available to all Frederick Health Hospice patients (whether they reside in Frederick or Montgomery County), provided they meet the Kline House criteria. 3) PROJECT CHRISTINE: Provides services for parents and families who have lost a child: dinner groups, social events, peer and professional support, arts-based activities, mindfulness interventions, and referrals to one-on-one grief counseling.
