DROP-IN CENTER: Provides a daytime drop-in center for women and women with children. Serves breakfast from 7:30-8:30AM, lunch 12Noon-1PM and dinner 5-6PM. Offers access to showers, baths and toiletries, use of telephone and mailing address, able to wash 1 load of laundry per week. Offers limited storage during the daytime only, items cannot be left overnight. On site case management, behavioral health, and life skills training. Makes referrals for services including psychiatry, medical care, life skills, resume building, job training and overnight shelter. Also accepts donations of non-perishable food, clothing, personal items, and cleaning products. Serves as a cooling center for women and children when the city makes the code red declaration.
