Description
|
OVERVIEW: Initiates temporary or permanent services when a child cannot be safely cared for in their home. - FOSTER CARE: Licenses foster parents for care of non-related children. Places children in foster care when the needs of the child cannot be met, with unification being the primary objective.
- PERMANANCY SERVICES: When reunification is not possible, alternate permanency services are explored such as adoption, guardianship, kinship, and independent living.
- FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Adoptive parents of children with special needs may receive monthly adoption assistance and/or medical assistance for that child.
