Description
|
Offers financial assistance with heating and electricity bills, in addition to gas and electricity bill arrearages. Also offers USPP and referral to weatherization. - MEAP- Offers assistance with heating bills. Clients do not need a heating bill in their name to qualify for this program.
- EUSP- Offers assitance with current electric bills. Clients do not have to have an electric bill in their name.
- USPP- Allows clients receiving MEAP to be protected from shutoffs as long as they make the minimum monthly payment. Participation requires 12 months of budget billing.
- ARA- Assists clients with past-due electric bills of at least $300 once every 5 years.
- GARA- Assists clients with past-due gas bill of at least $300 every 5 years.
- Weatherization- Provides referral to weatherization program.

application, OHEP instruction checklist, living arrangement form or mortgage invoice/tax bill (for homeowners), applicant’s photo ID, proof of citizenship for all household members, social security cards for all household members, proof of household’s gross monthly income for last 30 days, electric and/or heating bill.
